Gudrún performs regularly in recital, with guitar, piano and different chamber combinations. Her repertoire ranges from Sephardic Songs in the 15th century to premieres of new works by international composers. A polyglot, her recital programmes typically feature songs in English, French, German, Italian, Latin, Catalan, Valencian, Galician, Basque, Ladino, Russian, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish, with a special emphasis on music sung in Icelandic and Spanish.

Duo Atlantica, composed of Icelandic mezzo-soprano Gudrún Ólafsdóttir and Spanish classical guitarist and composer Francisco Javier Jáuregui, is known for its exceptionally strong connection with the audience, original repertoire, engaging performances, delicate sound, convincing storytelling and interesting introductions, which bring the audience deep into the world of the songs performed.

The Aglaia Trio - Voice, Violin & Guitar
The Aglaia Trio is a unique chamber group known for its engaging performances, vivid storytelling, original compositions and creative collaborations. The trio made up of Icelandic mezzo-soprano Gudrún Olafsdóttir, Spanish violinist Elena Jáuregui and guitarist Francisco Javier Jáuregui, performs music inspired by the folk repertoire – in particular from Spain and Iceland – as well as contemporary music.

Sonor Ensemble
Sonor Ensemble, conducted by Luis Aguirre, is a chamber group formed almost entirely by members of the National Orchestra of Spain. Its components are first rate professionals with considerable experience in the fields of symphonic and chamber music. They have all performed as soloists on numerous occasions interpreting the most representative concertos for their respective instruments.
Gudrún Ólafsdóttir has sung a great part of the classical repertoire for voice and piano, including songs and song-cycles by Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, R. Strauss, Berg, Britten, Fauré, Debussy, Chausson, Duparc, Grieg, de Falla, Granados, Montsalvatge, Turina, Rodrigo etc. She has given recitals with various pianists, including Víkingur Ólafsson, Inese Klotina, Juan Antonio Álvarez Parejo, Julio Alexis Muñoz, Ivana Gavric, Juan Carlos Cornelles, Sebastián Mariné, Federico Jusid, Alexis Delgado, Sylvia Torán, Ástríður Alda Sigurðardóttir, Edda Erlendsdóttir, Hrönn Þráinsdóttir etc.
Gudrún Ólafsdóttir has collaborated with many chamber ensembles such as Sonor Ensemble, Caput, The Reykjavík Chamber Orchestra (Kammersveit Reykjavíkur), Nordic Affect, Camerata del Prado, Muzík Ensemble, the Bach Ensemble Skálholt, Ísafold, Quarteto Galdós and others.
